Netflix is the first video partner to begin offering high-definition video at 1080p resolution on the Android platform, Google announced at an event today.
Google said its next-generation Nexus 7 tablet would be the first to support the new high def Netflix movies, thus positioning the Google-branded tablet as a serious media consumption device.
